The Wedge Antilles LEGO Star Wars Figure

The Wedge Antilles mini figure from the LEGO Star Wars series first made its debut as part of the 6212 X-Wing Fighter set which was introduced back in 2002 under the Star Wars Classic theme. The 6212 X-Wing Fighter set is composed of a total of 437 LEGO pieces. Aside from the Wedge Antilles mini figure, it also features a lot of the popular Star Wars characters such as the Han Solo mini figure, the Princess Leia mini figure, the Chewbacca mini figure, and the R2-D2 mini figure. In addition to this, the 6212 X-Wing Fighter set also features a Rebel Pilot version of the Luke Skywalker mini figure, which makes this set something that every Star Wars fan and every mini figure collector covets.

There is another Star Wars LEGO set that features the Wedge Antilles mini figure. This is the 66221 X-Wing Fighter And Luke Pilot Maquette Co-Pack set, which made its debut the following year after the release of the 6212 X-Wing Fighter set. Technically speaking however, this is just the 6212 X-Wing Fighter set with a maquette of the Luke Skywalker Rebel Pilot variant mini figure. This means that in the strictest sense, the 6212 X-Wing Fighter set is the lone set to ever include the Wedge Antilles mini figure in its line up of mini figures.

The LEGO Wedge Antilles mini figure has the standard appearance of a Rebel Pilot with its bright orange pilot suit. The legs, arms and torso of the mini figure is colored orange while the waist is a light stone grey color. Its hands are black while its face has a flesh tone color. The front side of its torso features some markings which provide better design detail to the Wedge Antilles mini figure. The mini figure comes with a helmet as its accessory. The helmet is white with light stone grey trim and some small black markings at the fore head part of the helmet. It is often at the front exposing the face of the Wedge Antilles mini figure.
